Invited by lead investors to sit on the governing Board as an Independent Director. mecwins is a private biotech company developing ultra- sensitive clinical diagnostic systems through the application of nanotechnologies. To aid in mecwins' success, I am providing expertise in strategy (i.e. focus), commercial planning and business development.

When sector expertise is required to assess a private market investment, I have been integrated with private equity due diligence teams. My contributions focus on business strategy, pipeline assessment, commercial deployment and market insights. Projects have included Rx pharmaceuticals, dermatalogicals, biosimilars/generics, and contract manufacturers, in Europe, Africa and Latin America.

I believe that the General Manager role is among the best management roles in a corporate career. So, too, it can be a difficult transition and when executed well, the personal and professional benefits are beyond measure. I am passionate about helping those that are making the jump up, land it.
