A mature, no growth market, and a product assumed at the end of it's growth trajectory with flat expectations. As head of commercial operations, completed a detailed analysis of sales force deployment vs. market opportunity which lead to reassignment and expansion of of field sales force coupled with shift in deployment of spending to new targets. The result: Exceeded 2011 and 2012 Sales and EBITDA goals for the largest affiliate product; broke through $300 million sales milestone in 2011 and delivered 109% of product’s 2012 sales target.

Crisis Turn-around in Spain

A country in crisis with swift government actions to cut spending, especially in pharmaceticals. As general manager of the Spanish pharmaceutical business, completed a massive turn- around through a redesigned business strategy, executing critical cost cutting measures (including re-scaling operations), business development and licensing, and strengthening the management team by hiring and developing key leaders across the organization. The result: shifting a -25% year-over-year top-line growth trajectory to +7% (10 pts over market growth), while delivering 50% operating income growth and earning 2013 and 2014 Affiliate of the Year Awards.
